SERVICES & EQUIPMENT
COMPOSING & SCORING:.
As a keen musician I have been composing music for 20 years in a variety of styles. From piano waltzes to aggressive rock tracks to large orchestral works I am very much inspired to create scores that reflect and enhance the images and scenarios on screen.
I have a large sound library including VSL (Vienna Sound Library) and Quantum East/West instruments as well as Sibelius for scoring and arranging.
SOUND DESIGN:
Whether it's the unique construction of unknown sounds or those subtle shifts in the audio that direct or re-direct the audiences attention; creating a soundscape that is effective, unique and memorable is one of the most important aspects of audio for film.
I have a large sound effects library, effects plugins and tools that can be combined to edit, manipulate and design new and original soundscapes.
AUDIO MIXING/EDIT & RESTORATION
I have a Pro Tools rig and control surface, with stereo and 5.1surround setups along with a host of professional editing tools such as: convolution reverbs, effects plugins and audio restoration software (izotope RX 2). This means that I can mix and edit audio for film/TV/game and repair those sounds/dialogue that have been damaged or badly recorded on set.
FOLEY:
I can record or re-record those onscreen sounds (footsteps, doors opening, clothing noise etc..) that are missing from your project. I have a selection of props along with a collection of professional microphones, field recorders and preamps that enable me to capture high quality audio.
